About Truncate Text
Truncating for a preview, a meta description or a fixed-width column. With Do not cut mid-word ticked, the cut moves back to the last space so the result never ends in half a word.
The ellipsis counts towards the limit, so a maximum of 20 with an ellipsis gives at most 20 characters in total - which is what a database column or a meta tag limit actually cares about.
