About Censor Words in Text
Each listed word is replaced wherever it appears, ignoring case. With Whole words only ticked, hell will not match inside hello - which is almost always what you want, and the reason naive find-and-replace censoring goes wrong.
The One * per letter option keeps the length of the original word, so the shape of the text survives. Everything happens in your browser, so the text never leaves your machine.
