About Loop an Audio File
Repeats the audio end to end into a single longer file - for background music that needs to fill a fixed length, or a sample that has to run for a set number of bars.
A short crossfade between repetitions is available and on by default. Without one, a loop whose start and end do not match at the sample level produces an audible click at every join; the crossfade blends the tail into the head so the seam disappears.
The result is exported as WAV, which is lossless, so the joins stay clean.
