About Number to Words
Converts a figure into words the way it is read aloud: 1234 becomes one thousand two hundred and thirty-four. Decimals are read digit by digit after "point", which is how people actually say them.
The cheque style is the one banks want - capitalised, with the pence or cents as a fraction over 100 - and the ordinal style gives first, second, twenty-first and so on, including the awkward ones like twelfth and twentieth.
Numbers above about 9 quadrillion are refused rather than answered wrongly: past that point JavaScript cannot hold a whole number exactly, so the digits themselves would already be approximate.
